A Large-Scale, Multiplayer Medieval Simulation with a focus on Roleplay and Realism.
The Crown Isle is, in essence, a Medieval Peasant Simulator built for Roleplay, all within Minecraft.Â
Set on an Island similar to our world's British Isles, players are put into the role of an average person in the medieval period. Be a Blacksmith, Farmer, Courier, Merchant, or so much more, with massively expanded mechanics to bring depth to every profession.
The Local Politics of the Island are entirely player-ran, with some players getting to play as local Lords & Ladies, Reeves (Mayors), or other roles within the political structure. These are not just titles, but actual roles that are essential for the growth and wellbeing of the communities they run.
We aim to provide the most accurate simulation experience we can, and while we sometimes take a handful of liberties for the sake of gameplay, we've been diligent in our efforts to recreate life in the Medieval Period (Mid-13th Century is our period of choice). Players will find little to no "Anachronistic" elements, such as new-world plants or animals that often plague other games set in Medieval Europe.
To add a little bit of interest to an otherwise very realistic and down-to-earth setting, we have included some elements from Celtic Folklore, allowing our writing team to tell some more interesting stories on a Local Level. Now, these are not Fairytale Creatures; they are rare and dangerous beings beyond human understanding. Don't expect common run-ins with these creatures, but be aware of their existence, and always, always count the teeth.
